My Best Friend's Mini-Me
Everyone has their happy place. This is theirs.
I've been lucky to shoot for the library several times. I'm hoping to have my commercial gallery up within the next two weeks. Check back or sign up for my newsletter.
Extended family photos at the farm...
One of the loveliest of families.
Photographed in a very small area called Boggsville. One guess what their last name is. :-)
These three are all such little characters. They reminded me of myself and my two older brothers. They're about the same years apart as we are too. She'll have two older brothers to take care of her. <3
Ballard Nature Center is always a beautiful place for photos no matter what time of year.
Such a special session with this wonderful mother and her son who traveled down from Chicago. They were both such a pleasure to photograph. Let me just say there were a few ups and downs with this session, but all three of us came out of it smiling in the end. Mosquitos, Ear Infections, Lost Files, you name it, it happened....but we prevailed.
Last year I officially began commercial photography in earnest. This spring, I'll be photographing eight more hotel properties throughout the midwest.
It's always fun to photograph fellow creatives. They always have great ideas and they let you do whatever you want. ;-)
Lots of laughing and silliness going on here...
An amazing event I've been lucky enough to be a part of for the past three years. Unfortunately there won't be one this spring, since it will now be held every other year instead of annually. It's going to be bigger, better and more fabulous in 2017. I've already penciled it in for May of next year and I'm greatly looking forward to it. If you'd like more information on Derby for the Cure, or Fear Nothing which started the fundraiser, you can go HERE.
A little about Fear Nothing: Fear Nothing Cancer Support and Research is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support for cancer patients and their families in Effingham, Cumberland, Jasper, Clay, Fayette and Shelby counties, in addition to providing crucial funds for ongoing cancer research. You can request assistance through their website if you or a loved one is going through cancer treatment.
It doesn't take long to get beautiful photographs. This probably took all of five minutes, if that.
